How to Choose Fresh and Delicious Pumpkin

  • Typically, fresh and delicious pumpkins will have a bright green or dark brown skin, with no unusual dark spots on the surface.
  • Choose pumpkins that feel heavy when lifted, not too light, and feel firm when pressed, without too many bruises.
  • Additionally, pumpkins with a stem length of about 2 little fingers will last longer when stored.
  • Avoid buying pumpkins that have uneven size and weight, as this is a sign that the pumpkin is hollow, and the dish will not be delicious.
