How to choose fresh and delicious salmon

  • Observe the exterior: The fish should have bright gray color, shiny scales that are firmly attached to the flesh.
  • Firmness of the salmon: Gently press the fish flesh without leaving fingerprints, bend the fish body and release it, the skin should not wrinkle, and when you hold the tail and shake it, the flesh should be firm.
  • Fish eyes: The eyes should be clear and bright, not cloudy or dull.
  • Fish gills: The gills should be bright red, firm to the touch, not soft and mushy.
  • Color of salmon flesh: Fresh salmon flesh should have a bright orange color, with evenly distributed fat marbling. Do not choose pieces of flesh that are mushy, pale in color, or have cloudy fat marbling.

How to prepare Salmon Pasta with Cream Sauce

  • Prepare the ingredients

    Boil water, then add pasta and cook with a little salt. When the pasta is just cooked, remove it and place it in a basket to drain, adding a little oil to mix in so that the pasta doesn’t dry out.

    Blanch the peas for about 4 minutes with salt until soft, then remove and let cool.

    Clean the salmon and cut it into bite-sized squares, dice the onion into square pieces, shred the cheese, and finely chop 1 clove of garlic.

    • Using lemon: Wash the salmon in water mixed with 1 – 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and a little salt for about 7 – 10 minutes, then rinse with clean water.
    • Using fresh milk: Soak the piece of salmon in fresh milk for about 10 minutes, then rinse well with clean water 2 – 3 times.
      Using alcohol and ginger: Soak the salmon in a mixture of white wine, smashed ginger with a little clean water for about 7 – 10 minutes, then rinse it off thoroughly.

  • Make Spaghetti
