How to Make Black Glutinous Rice Cake

  • Mix the Dough

    You prepare a bowl, add 2 cups of hot water into the bowl, then add 150gr of sugar and stir until the sugar completely dissolves. Next, add 300gr of glutinous rice flour and mix well to form a dough. You can add more flour or water if the dough is too dry or too wet.

    To achieve a chewy texture, take a small amount of the dough, boil it until cooked, then put it back into the original dough and mix well. Doing this will help the dough become smoother and chewier.

  • Shape the cake
