Cooking Coconut Milk
You place a non-stick pan on the stove, add 400ml of canned coconut milk, 50g of sugar, 8g of tapioca flour, 4g of rice flour, 4g of salt, and 125g of water (about 1/2 cup of water) into the pan. Then, you stir well to combine the mixture.
You turn on the stove, cook the coconut milk over low heat, and continuously stir to prevent the bottom from burning. When you see the coconut milk boil and thicken, you can turn off the heat.
Tip:- If you’re using freshly squeezed coconut milk, you can adjust or omit the added water to avoid making the coconut milk too watery.
- If you like to eat coconut milk with chopped green onions, you can prepare a small amount of chopped green onions and add them to the hot coconut milk.
