How to Choose Fresh Clams

How to Make Clam Porridge

Prepare the Ingredients
After purchasing clams, use a knife to separate the clam meat from the shell and place it in a bowl. Then, keep the extracted water and use scissors to cut the clams into small, bite-sized pieces.
For the rice, rinse it clean and soak it in warm water for about 3 hours, then use a pressure cooker or rice cooker to simmer the porridge.
For the shallots, peel them and divide them into 2 parts. One part should be sliced thinly for frying, and the other part should be finely chopped.
Wash the herbs thoroughly and chop them finely.

Stir-fry the Clams
Place a pot on the stove and add 1 teaspoon of cooking oil. When the oil is hot, add the chopped shallots and sauté until fragrant.
