Put the watermelon flesh that has been scooped into a bowl into the blender, you can divide it into several batches for easier blending!

Each time blend for about 5 minutes until the watermelon juice is smooth and no longer gritty, then turn off the machine and pour the watermelon juice into a bowl.

After blending all the watermelon, we will strain it through a sieve once more to filter out any remaining seeds and then pour the filtered watermelon juice into a pot.

Place the pot on the stove and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring continuously while cooking to prevent the jelly from burning at the bottom of the pot. When the mixture boils, cook for about 6 more minutes to fully cook the jelly powder, then turn off the heat.

Tip: When the jelly mixture is boiling, you should skim off the foam on the surface to make the jelly look more attractive and taste better!

How to choose fresh and delicious watermelon

  • First, when choosing watermelon, you should prioritize those with dark green skin, smooth texture, and clear stripes.
  • Next, to select sweet and fresh watermelon, you should choose those with small and withered stems, and the bottom of the fruit should have a light yellow color.
  • Do not choose those with pale skin or green stems, as these are fruits harvested too early, with bland taste, less crunchiness, and sweetness.
