Tools Required
How to Make Bubble Tea Jelly
-
Make the jelly powder mixture
Add 2 teaspoons of mint syrup, 6 teaspoons of water, and 1 teaspoon of jelly powder into a cup, stir well until the jelly powder is completely dissolved.
For the sting mixture, pour 300ml of sting water into another cup, add 1 teaspoon of jelly powder and stir until the jelly powder dissolves.
-
Cook the jelly powder mixture
Pour the mint jelly mixture and sting into 2 pots, place them on the stove, and cook on low heat, stirring constantly for about 2 to 5 minutes. When the jelly mixture in the pot boils, turn off the heat.
-
Dice the cheese
Next, place 8 pieces of cheese in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up so they don’t melt when cutting. Then, take them out and dice them.
-
Mold
Prepare 2 molds for the jelly. After both mixtures are cooked, scoop a spoonful into each small compartment of the mold.
Wait about 5 minutes for the jelly to set, then add the diced cheese into each compartment. Next, pour the remaining jelly from the pot to fill each mold.
Flip the mold with holes on top. The excess jelly will overflow through the mold’s holes, making the jelly balls round. Place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour to let the jelly firm up.
After the jelly has set, take it out and immediately place it in cold water to solidify and shape the jelly.
-
Final Product
The jelly balls are translucent in blue and red, looking appealing. The jelly is round, chewy, crunchy, with a refreshing mint flavor, a light sweetness from the sting, and a creamy taste from the cheese.
Brew a cup of milk tea, add a few jelly balls, and enjoy!
I hope that with the simple steps that TasteVN has shared above, you can make yourself delicious sweet milk tea jelly balls. Wishing you success!
