Squid 300 gr Ginger 1 bulb (small bulb) Betel leaves A few (about a handful)

  • Do not choose leaves that are too large or too small, bruised, or have an unusual smell.

  • Prepare the squid

    After purchasing the squid, remove the hard bone and ink sac, then rinse thoroughly and let it drain before cooking.

    Place the chopped betel leaves at the bottom of the steamer, add the prepared squid on top along with sliced ginger and whole betel leaves, cover and steam for about 15 minutes until the squid is cooked.

    If you want a stronger flavor while steaming the squid, you can add 1 teaspoon of seasoning and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
