  • Prepare the ingredients

    Clean the mushrooms by washing them with water, then cut them in half and let them drain. Peel the carrot, wash it thoroughly, and slice it thinly.

    Peel the peas on both sides, wash them clean, and let them drain. Peel the onion, wash it clean, and cut it into wedges.

    Trim the roots and wilted leaves from the green onions, wash them with clean water, and then cut them into sections. Peel the garlic and mince it.

  • Prepare and stir-fry the beef

    Massage the beef with salt for about 2 – 3 minutes, then rinse it with cold water, and use a knife to slice the meat into thin pieces.

    Next, place a pan on the stove, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, and add 1/2 of the minced garlic to sauté until fragrant.

    Add all the beef to the pan and stir-fry quickly over high heat, seasoning with 1 teaspoon of seasoning, stirring until the meat is just cooked through and firm, then transfer to a plate.

    Place the pan back on the stove, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and add the remaining garlic to sauté until fragrant, then add the onion and stir quickly. When the onion is just translucent, add the carrot and green peas and stir-fry for about 2 minutes before adding the straw mushrooms.

    Season with 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and stir until the seasonings dissolve.

    Next, add the beef, stir well, taste and adjust seasoning as needed, stir-fry for another 30 seconds, then add the green onions and 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper, stir well one more time to finish.
