How to choose good bananas

  • To make the cake more delicious, you should choose Siam bananas or green bananas, as these types are usually chewy and sweeter than other bananas.
  • Choose ripe yellow bananas with bright yellow skin; avoid those that are overripe and may spoil easily.
  • Choose bananas that are intact, without cracks, no dark spots, and not leaking juice; those are fresh and good bananas to select.
  • You can utilize overripe bananas at home to make this dish.

Line a baking tray with a piece of aluminum foil and spray a little water on top. Remove the plastic wrap from the pressed banana and place it on the baking tray.

Put the baking tray outside in the sunlight and dry for about 4 hours until the surface of the banana rice paper is dry. Flip the rice paper and continue to dry for another 4 hours.

Tip: If you want to speed up the process, you can put it in the oven at 50 degrees Celsius for 1 hour and flip the dried bananas to continue for about 1 hour at 50 degrees Celsius.
