How to Make Orange Flavored Marshmallow Candy
-
Boil Sugar Water
Place a pot on the stove, adding 5 tablespoons of water, 200g of sugar, and 200g of corn syrup, then turn the heat to low, stirring well and cooking until the sugar completely dissolves.
Once the sugar has dissolved, add 1 tablespoon of gelatin and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the pot and continue stirring on low heat until the mixture begins to boil, then turn off the heat.
Tip: Since sugar can easily burn, you should only cook on low heat until the ingredients are fully dissolved and the mixture begins to boil.
-
Whip the Sugar
Pour the boiled sugar water mixture into a bowl. Next, use a hand mixer to whip the sugar mixture until it is fluffy and smooth, then divide the mixture into two equal parts.
-
Mix the candy mixture
For the first sugar mixture, add 2 tablespoons of orange jam and mix well.
For the remaining sugar mixture, add about 1 – 2 drops of orange food coloring and then stir well.
-
Pour into molds and complete
Sprinkle a little cornstarch evenly across the bottom of the cake mold.
Tip: It is advisable to dust the cake mold with a little cornstarch or flour to help the candy easily come out of the mold after it sets.
Next, pour the mixture of sugar mixed with orange jam into the mold and gently tap to distribute the mixture evenly in the mold. Then, put the part of the sugar candy mixed with the orange coloring into a piping bag, squeezing it evenly over the orange jam sugar mixture.
Leave the candy mold at room temperature or place it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to harden the candy.
To prevent sticking, take a little cornstarch and rub it on the knife and cutting board.
Remove the candy from the mold, place it on the cutting board, and then cut it into bite-sized squares.

Final Product
With just a few simple steps, you can have square pieces of orange flavored marshmallow candy, fragrant and sweet, chewy and fluffy that both children and adults will love.
