Chicken cartilage 500 gr Cooking oil 10 tablespoons (about 100ml) Shredded pork 50 gr Dried shrimp 50 gr Dried chili 1/2 teaspoon Five spice powder 1/6 teaspoon Seasoning powder 1/2 teaspoon MSG 1/2 teaspoon Tempura flour 150 gr

How to choose fresh and delicious chicken cartilage

  • You should choose chicken cartilage with a naturally pinkish-red color of meat surrounding the cartilage, not too pale or too dark. Especially, the chicken meat should not have any bruises or blood spots.
  • Good chicken cartilage is usually the cartilage adjacent to the chicken breast, soft white cartilage not sticking to hard bones.
  • If buying pre-processed and packaged cartilage, carefully check the expiration date and packaging date. Check if the bag openings are intact, and choose bags that are dry inside, not leaking.
  • Do not choose chicken cartilage that is slimy or has a bad smell, as this could be old or spoiled cartilage.
