  • Make the shrimp filling

    You can buy pre-made processed pork and shrimp to save cooking time. Mix 200g of ground shrimp and 100g of processed pork together using a spoon until well combined.

    To wrap the seaweed, you need to prepare parchment paper. First, lay the seaweed sheet on a cutting board or plate, take a sufficient amount of shrimp and pork filling to place on the seaweed piece, then spread the filling evenly so that it covers the seaweed entirely.

    Next, place the parchment paper underneath the cutting board and flip the seaweed piece so that the filling presses against the parchment paper on top of the seaweed. Slowly roll the parchment paper so that the filling and the seaweed form a circular shape. Repeat this until all the filling is used up.

    Prepare a pan with oil on low heat, wait for the oil to heat up, and then add the wrapped shrimp cakes to fry until golden and crispy. You should fry on low heat to ensure the cakes cook evenly, frying for about 7 – 10 minutes will cook them through.
