Prepare the crab
First, you need to anesthetize the crab before cooking by soaking them in an ice bath for 7 minutes.
Then, take the crab out, separate the shell, and clean any dirt inside. You will do the same for all the crabs!
Next, use a sharp knife to cut the crab in half so that it absorbs the seasoning better during cooking.
Successful crab preparation tips:- First, flip the apron under the crab’s belly up, use a sharp knife to pierce straight into the tip under the apron until the crab dies, then remove the binding string.
