Gelatin powder 30 gr Taro powder 100 gr Cheese 30 gr Unsweetened fresh milk 400 ml Fresh cream 300 ml (whipping cream) Sugar 100 gr Filtered water 100 ml

What is Gelatin?

  • Gelatin is made from the main ingredient, collagen found in animal skin and bones. It is usually odorless, tasteless, transparent, and slightly yellow.

  • Soak gelatin

    Add 30g of gelatin powder into a bowl, pour in 100ml of purified water, stir well to dissolve the gelatin and prevent clumping, and soak for 20 minutes.

  • Blend milk and cheese

    Add 30g of cheese and 200ml of unsweetened fresh milk into the blender and blend until smooth.

  • Cook the jelly

    Pour the blended mixture into a pot, place it on the stove, add 200ml of unsweetened fresh milk, 300ml of fresh cream, stir well until the mixture gently simmers, then add 100g of sugar and continue stirring.

    After 3 minutes, gradually add 100g of taro flour. Once the taro flour is completely dissolved, add the gelatin, and stir until the gelatin is fully dissolved before turning off the heat.

  • Freeze and Cut the Bạch

    Use a cloth bag to filter this mixture into a mold, removing any residue or clumps. Skim off the foam on the surface to make the bạch look better.

    Next, let this mixture cool, then remove the dry top layer and place it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

    After 1 day, take the bạch out of the mold and use a serrated knife to cut it into bite-sized pieces.
