How to Choose Fresh Pork
- Choose meat that is light pink or light red, with the fat being slightly translucent white. Additionally, you should choose meat with a bit of fat or a mixture of fat and lean, so it doesn’t become greasy or dry when eaten.
- Fresh pork will feel resilient when pressed with your hand; after removing your hand, the meat returns to its original shape, and there are no indentations on the surface of the meat.
- Do not choose meat that is pale, has a rotten smell, or is slimy, as these indicate that the meat is spoiled or not fresh.



Prepare the shrimp
The shrimp you buy can be left whole or have the heads removed according to your preference, rinse a few times with water, then put them in a pot.
