  • Prepare the ingredients

    Pick the young leaves of the bitter vegetable, discarding any that are rotten or damaged, soak them in salt water for about 5 – 10 minutes, then rinse with clean water and let drain.

    Peel the shallots, wash them with water, and let them drain.

    For the dried shrimp, rinse briefly with water. To soften the shrimp, place them in a bowl and soak in cold or warm water for about 20 minutes.
