Ingredients for Pandan Jelly For 2 people

Pandan leaves a little Fresh milk 700 ml Fresh cream 3 tablespoons Sugar 6 tablespoons Agar powder 10 gr Water 700 ml

What is agar powder made from?

Agar powder is made from natural ingredients such as seaweed, apples, or other types of plants. Each type of agar powder will have different main components, but they all originate from nature.

Agar powder is the main ingredient that contributes to the success of jelly dishes. It helps the ingredients stick together, creating a unique texture that is equally attractive in jelly dishes.

How to make Pandan Jelly

  • Mix agar powder and sugar

    First, add 5g of agar powder to a bowl, then add 3 tablespoons of sugar and mix well.

    Next, prepare another mixture of sugar and agar powder similar to the steps above to get 2 bowls of agar powder, ready for 2 servings of jelly.

  • Making pandan juice

    The pandan leaves you bought should be washed clean, then cut into pieces about the length of one finger and put into a blender with 700ml of water to blend until smooth.

    Next, pour the mixture into a pot and use a sieve to filter out the leftover pandan leaf residue.

  • Making the pandan jelly layer

    Put the pandan juice pot on the stove, add a portion of the jelly powder mixture and sugar into the pot, use a spoon or whisk to stir continuously for about 4 minutes until the mixture boils and the jelly powder is completely dissolved, then turn off the heat.

    Add about 4 – 5 tablespoons of pandan jelly into a cup, you can adjust the amount according to your preference, then put the jelly in the refrigerator for 3 – 4 hours to set.

  • Make the fresh milk jelly layer

    You need to pour 700ml of fresh milk into a pot, then add the remaining mixture of agar powder and sugar along with 3 tablespoons of fresh cream, using a whisk to stir evenly and heat at 80°C.

    Then, scoop 3 – 4 tablespoons of fresh milk jelly onto the pandan jelly layer from earlier, and continue to place it in the refrigerator for 3 – 4 hours until the jelly sets to complete.

  • Final Product

    The smooth white fresh milk jelly layer on top combined with the green pandan jelly layer underneath looks very appealing.

    The jelly is soft, smooth, and cool, and when enjoyed, you will feel the sweet and creamy taste of milk along with the light, characteristic aroma of pandan leaves. This will be a perfect dessert for your family’s meal!
