  • Prepare and marinate the pork

    After washing the pork and removing the odor, use a knife to slice it thinly, then pound or tenderize the meat to soften it.

    Effective tips for removing the fishy smell from pork
    • Method 1: First, you can blanch the pork in boiling water over high heat for about 3 – 5 minutes, then rinse and drain before cooking.
    • Method 2: To effectively remove the smell, you can soak the pork in diluted saltwater with a little white wine for about 5 – 10 minutes!
    • Method 3: You can also add a few stalks of lemongrass to the boiling water to blanch the pork for about 5 minutes, then remove it and rinse before cooking!

    Next, marinate the pork with 1/3 teaspoon of salt, a little ground pepper, and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil for about 15 minutes to allow the meat to absorb the seasoning.

  • Coat the meat with batter
