  • Prioritize buying pieces of salmon with a production date closest to the purchase date sold in reputable supermarkets and meat shops.

How to make Grilled Salmon with Soy Sauce

  • Prepare the ingredients

    To eliminate the fishy smell of the salmon, soak the fish in a mixture of diluted saltwater for about 3 minutes, then rinse with clean water and let it drain.

    Next, use a knife to cut the fish into small, bite-sized pieces about 2.5 – 3 finger lengths long.

    Effective ways to clean salmon

    • Method 1: Rinse the salmon thoroughly, then soak it in a mixture of white wine and crushed ginger for about 10 minutes before rinsing with water.
    • Method 2: Soak the salmon in unsweetened fresh milk for about 10 minutes, then rinse to effectively eliminate the fishy smell and enhance the fish’s elasticity.

    Use a spoon to scrape off the outer skin of the ginger, then rinse it clean, slice it thinly, and cut it into strips.

    Chop the chili into slices. Green onions, remove the roots, rinse clean, and chop finely.

    Place the cut salmon into a plate, then add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes for the salmon to absorb the seasoning.

  • Grilling Salmon

    First, you place the salmon that has been plated in the air fryer and put it into the pot. Start the pot, then grill the seasoned salmon for about 5 minutes at a temperature of 170 degrees Celsius for the first round.

    Next, use a stick to flip the side of the sliced fish, then put the fish back into the air fryer and fry for another 5 minutes at a temperature of 170 degrees Celsius for the other side of the salmon to cook evenly.

    Then, line the bottom of the pot with a piece of aluminum foil, use chopsticks or tongs to place each slice of fish into the foil bowl, then drizzle the prepared fish sauce evenly over it.

    Cover the lid and grill for the third time at a temperature of 170 degrees Celsius for about 5 minutes for the salmon to absorb the sauce, then sprinkle a little chopped green onion and sesame seeds on the surface to enjoy!
