    Clean the ginger and slice it. Clean the lemongrass and cut it into sections.

    Peel the shallots and garlic, then chop them finely. Clean the bulb of garlic and cut it small. Clean the chili and chop it finely.

    Peel the onion and cut it into wedges. Clean the chives and cut them into pieces about 2 finger lengths. Peel the turmeric and chop it finely.
