Ingredients for Chocolate Ice Cream Cone For 6 cones

Cone wafers 6 pieces Dark chocolate 85 gr (optional) Chocolate chips 310 gr Heavy cream 120 ml Coconut oil 120 ml Vanilla ice cream 1.5 tubs (or chocolate ice cream) Roasted peanuts, crushed 125 gr

What is Heavy Cream?

  • Heavy cream is made from milk, with a higher fat content than whipping cream, typically having a minimum of around 36% – 40% fat.
  • Heavy cream holds its form better when whipped, so it is often used for decorating cakes.

How to make Chocolate Waffle Cone Ice Cream

  • Melt the milk chocolate and coconut oil chocolate mixture

    First, place 85g of dark chocolate in a bowl, then add 120ml of heavy cream and melt the mixture for 1 minute in the microwave.

    After that, take the milk chocolate mixture out and stir well with a spoon. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

    In another bowl, add 310g of chocolate chips along with 120ml of coconut oil and also melt in the microwave for about 1 minute! After 1 minute, take the coconut oil chocolate mixture out and stir well.

  • Cover chocolate on the cone cake

    You wrap aluminum foil around a mold to create a stand for the cone cake.

    Next, you use a spoon to slowly pour the melted coconut oil chocolate mixture inside the cone cake and gently rotate it to ensure the chocolate coats a thin layer inside the cake.

    Insert the chocolate-covered cone cake into the aluminum foil mold on top to keep the cake upright as shown!

    Place the chocolate cone cake mold in the refrigerator for about 2 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

  • Add cream filling and freeze for the first time

    Next, take the chocolate cone out and add 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream corresponding to each cone. Gently press the cream so that it fills up to the edge of the cone. After adding the cream, place it back in the freezer.

    Use an ice cream scoop to take a full scoop of ice cream and create a small hole inside the cream.

    Next, take the milk chocolate from step 1 out of the refrigerator and use a teaspoon to scoop some milk chocolate and put it into the small hole you just created in the ice cream.

    Continue to place the chocolate cream over the top of the cone to complete the cream filling.

    Repeat the above steps until all 6 cones are filled, then place them on a tray and keep them in the freezer for at least 30 minutes!

    The remaining milk chocolate mixture from step 4, you put in the microwave and melt for 1 minute.

    After the chocolate cone ice cream has set, take it out and dip the ice cream evenly into the melted milk chocolate mixture, then quickly roll it over crushed roasted peanuts to finish.
