How to make Salty Pork Floss Stick Cookies

Mix the dough
First, mash 30g of unsalted butter until soft, then sift it into a bowl and add 100g of flour. Use a whisk to mix the ingredients evenly.
Next, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 25g of pork floss, and continue to mix well to combine.
Finally, gradually add 40ml of unsweetened fresh milk into the bowl and mix once more until the ingredients stick together.
Note: Since the recipe includes pork floss, you can adjust the amount of salt added to the dough depending on the saltiness of the pork floss! -
Knead the dough
Use your hands to knead the dough for about 5 – 7 minutes until it forms a uniform mass that does not stick to your hands and has a moderately soft and elastic texture.
Next, use a rolling pin to flatten the dough, then place it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, use a knife to cut the dough into long or short sticks, then use a fork to prick evenly along the body of the cookie.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
