How to Cook Braised Beef Trotters with Black Beans

Prepare the Ingredients
First, with 2kg of beef trotters you bought, rub some salt over the entire surface of the meat for 3 – 5 minutes, then use a knife to scrape off the hair, wash it several times with water until clean, drain, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
For the black beans, put them in a bowl with 100ml of water and soak for about 20 – 30 minutes, then rinse again with clean water, and drain. Rinse the white rice with clean water 1 – 2 times, then drain.
Remove the stem from the pandan leaves, wash them directly under running water to remove any dirt, and let them drain. Finally, wash the ginger, drain it, and cut it into small pieces.

Braised Beef Trotters with Black Beans
Once the ingredients are ready, you take a pot and place it on the stove, then add all the beef trotters, black beans, white rice, pandan leaves, ginger, and 2 liters of water, and braise on low heat for about 6 – 8 hours.
When all the ingredients are soft and cooked, season with spices to taste, then turn off the heat and serve in a bowl to enjoy!
