How to choose fresh ingredients
How to choose delicious red beans:
- Choose red beans that are medium-sized and have a bright red color.
- Choose fresh beans with no unpleasant smell, pests, or damage.
How to choose delicious sứ bananas:
- Choose a bunch of bananas that is manageable, not too large, and ripe evenly at both the stem and the body.
- Delicious and chewy sứ bananas will have a slightly dry, thin, yellow skin with a slight darkening. Occasionally, there will be some dark spots on the skin.
- When buying bananas, if you notice the fruit starting to shrivel, with a thinner skin that clings closely to the stem, then the bananas at this stage will taste very good.
How to choose delicious kiwis:
- Stem part: Gently press the stem with your hand; if it is soft, then it is a sweet (ripe) fruit, while a hard stem indicates that the fruit is sour (not ripe). You can choose according to your preference for sweetness or sourness.
- Outer skin: If the skin is smooth and has no blemishes, then it is a good fruit. Avoid choosing fruits with bruises or insect bites.
- Fruit shape: Choose fruits that are curved, round, and avoid those that are misshapen or flattened. Additionally, fruits with a lot of fuzz on the outside are also good kiwis.
