How to choose sweet and delicious watermelon
- You should choose fruits that are round and evenly shaped, looking balanced, with no significant difference between the head and tail.
- Opt for those with a hard outer skin, dark green color, evenly distributed stripes, and no dullness.
- Fresh, sweet, and tasty watermelons usually have small, wilted stems, and the bottom of the watermelon should be yellow or cream-colored.
- When you tap the watermelon, it should produce a loud and clear “thump, thump” sound, with a firm skin; this indicates a good watermelon.
- Avoid purchasing fruits that are misshapen, unbalanced, have soft and mushy skins, or pale and uneven colors, as these are not delicious or sweet.
What is Gelatin?
- Gelatin is a type of odorless, tasteless protein, either transparent or slightly yellow, and is widely used in industries such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food. In food, gelatin usually comes in two forms: sheet and powder.
- Gelatin is often used to make jelly, gummy candies, and is also used to make mousse cakes, pudding cakes, and more.
- Mothers should use organic gelatin to ensure better health for their children. You can find gelatin at supermarkets for mothers and babies or at stores selling baking ingredients. Additionally, you can order directly from e-commerce sites for home delivery!
