How to choose fresh and delicious beef
- You should choose meat that is bright red, with fine and small fibers, beautiful marbling, fat that is light yellow, and when smelling, it has the characteristic aroma of beef.
- Additionally, good beef will feel sticky when touched, and will have a certain elasticity when pressed lightly.
- Avoid buying meat that is dark red, with dark yellow fat, and large fibers because that is old beef, which is often tough and not tasty. If the meat is dark red, with white fat, and has a slightly fishy smell, it is fake beef made from buffalo meat.

Prepare the tofu
Cut the tofu into small square pieces, place them in a bowl, cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap, and steam it using a microwave at 500W for 2 minutes.
Tip: If you don’t have a microwave, you can steam the tofu on a gas stove for 5 minutes. -
Prepare other ingredients
Carrots should be peeled, washed, and cut into small cubes.
Green onions should have the wilted leaves removed, roots discarded, washed, and chopped.

Make minced beef sauce
Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and 1 teaspoon of minced garlic into the pan and sauté until the garlic is fragrant, then add the carrots.
Sauté until the carrots start to change color, then add the minced beef, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, and 1 teaspoon of sugar into the pan.
