How to make Toasted Butter Bread with Scallion Oil

  • Spread butter on bread

    With 2 pieces of bread, cut them in half lengthwise, then evenly spread 1 tablespoon of vegetable butter on the inner surface of each piece of bread.

    Tip: To make delicious toasted bread, you should choose fluffy bread, and avoid bread that is too dense.

  • Make scallion oil

    Remove the roots from the scallions, discard any wilted leaves, wash them thoroughly, and chop them into small pieces into a bowl.

    Heat a pan, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and heat until the oil is hot. Then, pour this oil into the bowl of chopped scallions to make scallion oil.

  • Toasting Bread

    Place another pan on the stove, turn on a low flame, then put the buttered bread in to toast. Use chopsticks to flip both sides evenly and press down on the bread to compress it and make it crispy all around.

    Toast for about 2 – 4 minutes until the butter melts and the aroma is delightful, then do the same for the remaining pieces of bread.
